Hi
Firstly ive never worked on Bally machines untill about a month ago when I brought Star Trek back to life. This week I moved Black Pyramid down to the workshop (the one I got free Last year)
It has a Bally rectifier board as-2518-54 (under playfield type) like so

Can anyone tell me the voltages I should be getting from the Transformer on the two plugs that plug into J5 and J6 on the right on the above picture?
Im getting 240v at the connector with the fuse just prior to the transformer.
I suspect that that the transformer is faulty as there is no 240v coming out of of it, below are the readings I am getting on these two plugs
The pin numbers are for my reference only, I doubt they are correct
J5
9 pins
1 - 49.80v
2 - 102.2v
3 - 9.69v
4 - 5.54
5 - not connected
6 - 9.76
7 - 37.9
8 - 13.59v
9 - 13.63
J6
6 pins
1 - 6.48v
2 - 10.75v
3 - 13.12v
4 - 6.90v
5 - 11.00v
6 - 23.19
I dont have the readings from the test points at hand but they were also low especially TP2 which should be 230v, it was 110 or so from memory.
Assuming that the transformer is knackered are there any available out there or can it be repaired etc
Any help appreciated
Cheers
Ian
