Wanted Virtual pinball to keep the kids of the main pins

Looking for a virtual pinball machine if any one knows of any it's for the kids so can be lower in height or don't mindfull size

What's the new one then Dave? I've only had experience of using HyperPin as a front-end for both Future Pinball and Visual Pinball. If there's a newer alternative i'd be very interested to hear about it.
 
PinballX is newer but if you just want to select a game and play it there's nothing wrong with Hyperpin.
 
PinballX yes. Updated all the time, lots of extras, much better. Even has a lite version for weak comps.

No, nothing wrong with just launching a game but to add games or other systems etc is just a pain in the ****.

I haven't released this yet, maybe you could also use with HyperPin, but not really interested in supporting it right now. I leeched IPDB so all games description match up to its database.

 
PinballX has had nasty crashing issues on the 2 virtual pins that I've built. I couldn't be bothered to spend any more time troubleshooting it so I stuck with Hyperpin. Agreed that it's a pain to maintain if you have a lot of games on there or need several systems.
 
Thanks for the heads up Dave. Hadn't come across PinballX before so will be sure to check it out.
 
It's very good for desktop usage too worm. You can just push a key that flips the view around 90 degrees every angle.

2 different systems crashed? I'd recommend just giving newer versions a go still, it's not really going to interfere with what you have already. Probably to do with video drivers? It's hardly cpu intensive.
