Hi guys

Reluctantly Seawitch must set sail from GrizZ HQ. I just dont have any space and silly to keep this in storage any longer. Its such a cool looking game it deserves to be used in someones collection.

This title is very rare in the UK, and in Europe. Never seen one on UK Ebay in all my years of pin collecting. I think prob a few in UK at most.

I have just set it up again. Plays fast and smooth with super cool old skool sound effects.

Clean, stripped and rerubbered, plays great.
New Alltek CPU board fitted.
Backglass - nice condition. Some minor flaking on the red area below Seawitch lettering. Looks fine though.
A few wear areas on playfield.
Cab not bad - usual wear.
Legs and coin door - bit rough, could do with respray.
1 display - player 3, intermittant sometimes fine . Other times ok on power up, then flickers and displays all same digits.
A few lamp sockets need a wiggle to work, just need a good clean prob.

I also have a spare backglass (poor and flaky), and a second slightly better coin door.

Really dont know value on this :hmm: as they never come up for sale so prob gonna throw it on Ebay for offers

If anyone is seriously interested let me know.

Love it. Beautiful, beautiful pin. That backglass is stunning. Did Stern really used to make games this cool? Trying to remember if there was one of these at the Schwerin Flippermuseum in Germany? I think they might have had a backglass on the wall.

I'd happily take it off your hands but the bank manager says your price has one too many zeros in it :(

Games like this from Stern were the main reason I didn't give Bally games like Paragon enough respect back in the day (sorry). A small local arcade had three pins; Paragon, Meteor and Seawitch. I'd play them all, but preferred the Stern machines. Apparently the local operators did too, as they seemed to have a lot of Stern games.

Cool! There are so few Stern games around in the UK it was bound to make someone happy.

I got a basket case Stern Galaxy off Simon White. It's worth spending the money to restore it as Stern did some really cool games back in the day, and they are just so hard to get

Thought you might have been tempted Luke.

Does it make a space for another Ive ? or is stored machine taking its place.

I so wish I'd bought that project Stern FLIGHT 2000 that went on eBay, just before The Pinball Arcade released it as a table! Trying to recall what the winning bid was... around £200-250 I think. Was a real wildcard. Obviously sat in the back of a garage for years and years. I was unsure at the time as I was a bit newbie but now know the guts of old Stern's are almost identical to Bally's of that era, especially the M-100 MPU.

Oh well... You live and learn. Got me much rare Gold Ball instead :D
