Urgent (ish) request from any WCS owners

I'm at my sisters for another hour or so only. She has a WCS. I'm trying to understand why I can only lock one ball before starting multiball at the scoop, but there are TWO locked ball switches.

completing the 'build' shots for stamina strength etc lights lock at both ramps.... but then when one is locked, how do I relight lock again to lock a second one?

1 lock on the ramp, it then holds one in the scoop and pops another into the shooter lane.

That's your 3 ball multiball.

So why are there two switches in the lock area?

For multiplayer games, you lock one and it releases the other. I think it's so you can't steal multiballs from each other.
