All regions have now completed the 2025 season. Huge thanks to the organisers in each region, along with the hosts that make it all possible, and of course the players.

Some of the regions (those that organised a regional final) have already distributed trophies to their top three. For the remaining regions (Scotland, Ireland, South West and Wales) I'll be bringing the trophies to Pinfest.

The top two players in each region are once again invited to the National Finals at Pinfest. I'm hoping this year that the majority will be available Friday pm for a 1pm start which should avoid clashes with the other things going on and mean everyone is free for socialising in the evening.

Please can the invited players listed below ping me their availability asap
Invitations can cascade down where players are not available, so please let me know if I've made mistakes here too (apologies).

Invited/confirmed players are:

South West
- Peter Blakemore
- Josh Iles

Midlands
- Wayne Johns
- Gene Aw

London & SE
- Chris Poyntz
- Dave Fowler

Northern
- Will Jarvis
- David Dutton

Scotland
- Steve Close
- Kevin Saidla

Ireland
- Keith Boreland
- Ian Craig

East Anglia
- Pete Bennett
- Nathan Garwood

South Wales
- Kevin Donovan
- Jason Pitt

We're planning to use the same room/machines as the Ladies competition. Please keep an eye out on the Machine Donation thread which is probably the best place to see machine updates

With regards to timing/format - I'd like to get players assembled around 12:45pm Friday please, so that we can actually start games at (or soon after) 1pm
Same as last year - format is a 'Max Matchplay' / Round Robin style, where every player plays each other in a head-to-head matchup on a randomly allocated machine.

Once all games are complete the top four will face off against each other to determine the trophy places.

I wasn’t originally planning on going Friday as well, but I could make a detour. Is there an extra charge to enter the comp?
I was already planning on getting a weekend pass.

I can make this slot. Will there be any opportunity for practice prior to the start of the competition?
