Uber - Dangerous Driver

Very nearly involved in a crash today, as seen by my horrified friends seeing me off. My uber driver just set off without looking in the mirrors whilst chatting on the phone. Another car had to slam on the brakes and was inches away from impact.

Is it safe to leave honest uber feedback, or do you get aggro/ cancelled/ banned/ called a racist ?

I only use uber a couple of times a year or so

It is the drivers fault but remember - he knows where you live if he collected you from home.

I would just report a whiplash injury.

He'll do it again to someone else otherwise, and the consequences could be much worse.

Sounds like that Uber driver pasted his test in Rome , I have not even seen any vehicle’s as of yet with out any dents or scratches . Plus crossing the road is like Russian roulette

I drove in Rome for a few days to see if it was worse than London. I found it hilarious at points, terrifying at other times.

Had a Taxi back to the hotel tonight , I just don’t know how the hell no one is hurt , it’s just mad , seeing is believing !!

Taxi ride from Ciampino airport to Rome city centre was insane, lots of driving on the wrong side to jump queueing traffic, arrived in one piece though.

Iv never understood this, if they drive all day they should be the best drivers on the road, yet they are the worst lol.

I once went in a taxi car in Manilla.
Was like stock car racing.
Every car was covered in dents and had mesh windows (NO glass except if you are lucky a windscreen).....

You should try being in a taxi in Cairo....best just to close your eyes and hope for the best.

I was writing about my Cairo experiences and got distracted. I saw a lot of local repair shops but no one bothered with body work.
I was offered the chance to drive and I turned it down every time.
Cut seatbelts always worried me. You have to hold on to them like rope.
