TZ Playfield lock

I may be really dumb here but I can't see anyway to lock the play field in place when I lift it up out the cab to work on the underside...the bar down the right side of the cab is so short to be of any use.

Maybe I've got something missing in my cab...anyone shed any light on this?

No sounds normal to me either the prop, against the backbox or resting on its supports against the lock down receiver

Pull it out to the click, then carefully open it all the way up like a car bonnet so the metal apron rests vertically on the top part of the backbox. I'd put a piece of soft pipe insulation from B&Q on that backbox wood to stop anything getting damaged.

The prop on the right hand side of the cab is useless in my opinion, especially on wide heavy playfields like TZ and RS.

The bar on the right is to hold the playfield at a 45 deg (ish) angle, which allows you to work on the trough or flippers.

Always remove the balls first (use the option in the menu if power is on - remember to activate the coin door switch for power).

Use the apron where the ball drains to lift up the playfield a bit then pull forwards towards you, lifting the bottom of the playfield past the end of the cabinet (Underneath the playfield are a couple of slider rails that you can rest on the cabinet). Pull fully forwards towards you until you hear a click. Then raise the playfield upwards. If the playfield does not lock in place then it may slide back towards the cabinet.

Thanks guys "Pull fully forwards towards you until you hear a click." it was this bit I was missing, I had no idea I had to keep pulling it forward, I was lifting it too early

now the broom can be used for something less dangerous
