1) i need to replace a crispy coil from a Sega game - the coil is from a mech that kicks a ball sideways, the fried one is a 24-940. now i don't know a lot about coils, i only know that it's 24 gauge wire with 940 turns. oh and it was a 50V coil. and i think that less turns means more powerful
now i don't have an exact replacement, but i do have a few Sega alternatives - so which of these is best?
29-2000
26-1200
23-840
23-800
i'm thinking the 23-840?
2) the coil burned because it's associated transistor/mosfet/thingy seems to have cooked - an IRL540. at least it only has three legs this time. once again, i don't have an exact replacement - i have this lot. so which is best, if any?
TIP102, TIP107 (these look the same shape at least)
P40NF10L, BT138E (same shape)
TIP36C (much bigger)
2N3904, 2N3906, 2N5401 (much smaller)
i have no idea on this one
