can any help me to stop the ball bouching back of the divertor is there any mod for it

Those neodymium magnets are bloody strong little bleeders.

Would have thought one might have been to strong.

I know £5 is not a lot of money but if you've got any spare i would pay a couple of quid for one, you could bring to the party (if you're going) so not even have to bother posting.

If none spare i'll go halves with Glyn?

Cheers Adie

Many thanks for letting me pop to yours.

Cheers Adie

Great to meet you Adie. Glad the magnet did the trick. See you around, David.

Ive sorted the bounch back now off the divertor with the help of a magnet now does anyone now how i stop it bouching of the track when divertor opens for it to go onto power field

Something wrong there, ball track not level maybe or divertor mech too much play and causing too much vibration perhaps, maybe slightly worn, i don't know enough about it but mine for the most parts is fine.

Someone else may be able to help with that, i thought you were just wanting total perfection, didn't realise it was such a problem.

Something is loose, more than likely the wirform rail that the ball travels on. When the divertor opens it causes the wire form to bounce thus throwing the ball off.

If you want to have a look at mine to see if anything is different i am only in Ellesmere Port, i think you are not too far from me. Is your table level, i don't think it is the issue as i just put the lege on mine and played, no spirit leve etc but it seems to play true enough so i didn't bother further but it may affect it.

Adie

Its all tight nothing loose i must admit the divertor does sound very rough when opening and very rough but when moved by hand it seems free

Is there somewhere i can get replacment parts for the divertor

Hi Glynn

I'm no techie but I would check the the level of the table and the shapes of the wire forms. My pin rooms floor is uneven and if i get a bit urgent with my pins they slide about and the levels change. I always know when i've been too heavy handed playing as balls start dropping off wireforms. My old tz used to do this if I remember right? Balls also bounced back out of the lock when it wasn't level also

I would try and view another Tz to see it in action to see if Yours is running smoothly.

Hope this helps?
