Just like buses, three TZ come along in the same week....
I bought this at the start of lockdown from Colin of PinballUK , who had made it good as new - stripped and rebuilt the playfield, tumble polished the metal work, spray painted the metal work inside the back cabinet, put new decals on the cabinet and new rubbers. I bought it on its reputation as the No. 1 pinball on IPDB but try as I might, I really cant get into it, probably because I'm not a good enough player.
The lock shot was very difficult when I got it - the ball would bounce out and so I have applied some magnetic tape as suggested on pinside which has fixed it.
There is a mix of incandescent and LEDs in playfield and backbox, and I have bought light mods for gumball machine and shooter lane and new clock decal, but not yet fitted. One niggle - there is a slight wobble to the lockbar although this is easily sorted by wedging something between the bar and the cabinet. Otherwise all in good order.
Am looking for 5k which is what it cost me, though would consider part ex for eg AC/DC, Family Guy, Simpsons, Scared Stiff.
