For sale is my beloved twilight zone, unfortunately need to free up some space and cash for a new purchase.
Overall it’s in great condition, no wear to the playfield in the usual areas, and cliffys have been fitted to the rocket shot and slot machine kick out. There’s no wear underneath though. There is a shooter Lane cliffy fitted and I do have the mini playfield and gum ball cliffys to go with it. But there not fitted. There’s a few mods on it. The Chevy mod with lit headlights above the pops. A lit camera that lights with the camera shot. Also gum balls are installed, also have a new set to go in that are better which will also go with the machine. A magnet has been added at some point in the past to the right ramp shot to hold the ball. There are some LED’s fitted to the gumball machine as well although they are not the best. Cols fluorescent protectors are fitted in most places, even underneath the mini playfield instead of the card piece. I Stripped, cleaned and polished the machine a couple of months back and it hasn’t had much use since really. All new star posts were fitted along with white premium silicon rubbers. Along with new flipper bats and blue super bands. Comes with the original power and original manual also.
I have added a few mini LED strips in places that were not originally lit that seemed like they could do with it. Also trough and shooter lane are lit. Full premium twin smd LED’s were fitted in all inserts and are colour coded. All inserts were cleaned at the same time. All GI is cool white. Flashers are all LED’s and the mini playfield has LED’s installed also. Subway was removed and cleaned too. Has a new led clock board too, the better one can’t remember the name but will edit later. I put the Original clear hosing back and some PETG clock faces. Also have the proto one. There is a back board decal fitted although it could do with re-sticking or replaces tbh.
Cabinet is pretty clean with no major marks or damage. There is the usual fade to the cabinet unfortunately. Translucent blue shooter rod has been fitted along with all new hardware and sleeve. Translucent blue flipper buttons and blue start and extra ball buttons. Inside cab was cleaned as well as the wiring. Boards look pretty decent although I have never had them out to be honest. The battery’s have been put in to a remote pack. There has been a board added to the dmd driver board I believe. Not 100% what it is though, but guessing it was an early high voltage fix, but I am sure you lot probably know. Original DMD installed without any issues.
Any extra pictures needed please ask and I can sort some out.
I also have fitted currently my homemade pin stadium type lighting. Just cool white on a dimmer by the coin door on a separate 12v power supply. Works really well on some games but if I’m honest, I was never too sure on TZ. I think I preferred it darker. I can leave these in or remove if preferred.
Looking for £4800
Collection is fine or use Martin, been here a few times before.
I am out for the day today but will add a lot more and better photos when I get home this evening, also easier to add photos on the Mac that the phone.
May not reply straight away but will do as soon as I can and will of course work on first come first served basis
