Hi Gang

It's time for my Twilight Zone to find a new home. It is currently an expensive sideboard.

Here is a quick snap of it. Proper set of pics to follow tomorrow.

It is in nice condition overall. Everything is working 100% (Including the clock!) No switch errors, no broken plastics, no nasty hacks etc etc. DMD is perfect.

It has a few mods:

Full LED conversion
Blue under cab LED strip
Blue playfield LED strip
Plastic Protectors
Pop bumper model car
Gumballs
Colour changing gumball machine LEDs
Spiral diverter cover
Blue light wires on wireforms

Also has a brand new Powerball.
It is an early production model so it has the white clock face and extra posts in the pops.
Can't think of anything else right now but I will update the thread tomorrow when I have taken some decent pics.

I am looking to sell and not trade really. But never say never and all that.

Located in sunny Lyme Regis, Dorset.

Cheers

Dean

**EDIT - Martin is coming to me "next week" if that helps at all.

Here is a short video I just shot of me playing a quick game on it.
Sorry for the absolutely shocking performance. I wasn't trying particularly hard as it was just meant to demonstrate that the games works and plays well. (That is my story and I'm sticking to it!)

Pics coming soon.

I'm sure I saw a small fist pump when you got the power ball back in the gumball machine v satisfiying that shot !

How did you attach the blue light wire to the wireform, I'm about to put that mod on my TZ - not sure what to use that doesn't stand out too much, probably sellotape!.

Nice looking machine by the way.

I didn't install it myself but it is just held on with a couple of bits of tape here and there.

If you can find the money, you should get one.

I love this machine, it's an all round classic. Maybe a bit too stop/start for some but the excellent sound and animations fill the gaps well.

Sound investment too, very unlikely to depreciate (unless it's remade!).

And due to the way they built them back then (i.e. like a tank); i can't see anyone taking that challenge on...

Totally agree Mark - I really like it too, but can see how others find it dull. Sit it next to a HS2 with the adrenalin-inducing supercharger buzzing around and it all looks a bit more mundane, but this game really pushed the boundaries of what could be done. Get it mechanically sound, add a couple of enhancing mod (e.g. bridge magnet, gumball lights) and it's all very slick, no 'holes' in the design.

I'd sell TAF before TZ.

The annoying thing is I have the extra 600 or so I need but it's spending money for when my sons over so have to resist :0(. Of course I could put that but on my credit card.... Not sure if that's wise either sighs

Actually may look into that at the w/e.... Could allways pay it off when I flog fp hmm

Yep me too.

TZ is Lawlors masterpiece.

Damn it you guys. Now I don't want to sell it again!

I have a TZ next to a HS2 and still I find HS2 lacking, it's a game I really wanted to enjoy and I just haven't got on with it at all. I expect it will be moved on when I can be bothered to sell it or something shiny appears (the problem is that HS2 money doesn't get anything shiny enough :( )
