5A fuse going on start up... replaced line filter as such... Still tripping out... help!!!

Also those live wires look a bit long and not well soldered.
They may drop off.

You should try and clean that side up.
Maybe add heatshrink.
 
Yes it was a "tack" job to test to be honest.

The blue component was brand new, but once snipped all worked fine. Does it need to be on there?
 
What was the blue component, what did you order ?

Often people get confused between varistor which is what it should be rated at 275v , and thermistor which is a short circuit device and used as current inrush limiter in series with the live supply.
 
That was a S10k275 Varistor - once the varistor was removed, the issue went away, the game booted.
