ToM Solenoid Fuses blowing

The infamous ToM has developed another couple of problems... Two 3A SB solenoid fuses are going, sometimes straight away, other times after a bit of playing. These serve the magnets, ball trough, trapdoor, subway and post diverters. Slings and gates are fine. Have tried isolating different things to try pin it down but going round in circles.... Have solved one temporarily by putting a 4A fuse in which isn't ideal but at least it appears to be a small voltage increase as the 4A isn't blowing.

Anyone had a ToM with similar issues that can advise in the right direction?

Are you sure 3A is the correct fuse? My CV are a 4A slow blow for magnets and solenoids etc

I put 3a sb in the TAF magnet burn prevention kits and I haven't had one blow yet, however the damn magnet throws the ball away pretty quickly sothey do not stay on longer then a minute. Still not a bad test.

It's what's stated in the manual. F104 on the power driver board and F901 of the Fliptronic Controller Board. I'm going to try a 4A in the latter too, see what happens.

Another thing about the drain magnets, I've noticed they don't hold the ball still when activated. The ball shakes left and right quickly and sometimes doesn't drop it down the inlanes as it should. Is this normal?

No, not normal. They should grab the ball pretty strongly and hold it almost still.

Going to look at magnet positioning tonight to see if I can solve it.

As the Eddy Sensors are also a bit flaky, is Pinbits the only place that sell the Auto Eddy Sensors (currently out of stock)? Haven't found them anywhere else.
