I first tried this on my DI sim hole as it wouldn’t make the shot most times, I had some cling vinyl that I used to protect some areas on other pins that I didn’t want to stick Mylar onto.
Anyway it helped a lot with the sim shot, just finished my STTNG and I fitted a protector that I took off my old STTNG as it made the shot near impossible. Sure enough the same thing on this one just bouncing back, just fitted some cling vinyl around the protector and I kid you not the shot goes in sweet every time.

So worth a try if you have a protector and the shot isn’t going in easily, it’s just thick enough to lift the ball enough not to bounce up from the metal lip. Plus if it doesn’t help you can just take it off easily. Be interesting to see if this works for other games.

That's great!
I had some on my DEJP but removed them because they made shots to all 3 scoops so much harder. The ball wouldn't casually roll in and would be deflected by the rim of the cliffy
