TILT - Tuesday Night League (starting September 2023)

Results from week 2 and week 3 of Tilt on Tuesdays League.

We will be holding a small 'Seasonal Strikes' tournament on Tuesday 19th December. The format will hopefully be something like 4 strikes - h2h. With the remaining 4 players playing a 4 player game to decide the winner. Starting as early as possible, likely about 6:30pm depending on when the majority can make it. Let me know if you are interested or just turn up on the day - should be fun!

After 5 weeks of play, one man towers above everyone in 1st place. Say it with me, you know the words...

Gaaaareth, Gaaaareth, Gaaaareth

Drop me a message if you are interested/intend to come to seasonal strikes next Tuesday - would be very helpful to know potential numbers for organisation.

SEASON 3 - Half Way Point

At the half way point of Season 3 the top 2 are a familiar sight, with Season 1 Champ @Tilt_Birmingham still whacking in consistently ridiculous scores (apparently you don't need thumbs to play pinball) and Season 2 Champ @Genotime winning 2 meets each.

Who will join them in the final 4 this Season? The People's Champ, Gareth Arnold currently sits in 3rd with consistent turning up and some solid performances. Rumours are arife that he might call in his recent European foes Flygare, Pedroni, Ritter, Trepp and gang to up the standard and keep himself sharp.

Simon Peacock has put in 2 strong weeks and could join Sadler and Aw in the finals for the 3rd time.

Hall of Famer @steve brum took advantage of the injury to Sadler with a timely return to some form and could be looking to secure a spot himself.

Jay Bryan, Max Welch and newcomer Craig Rossin all also have good shouts at making the finals. (probably Kev too). With 4 weeks to go, plenty of time for anyone to cement or make a completely fresh run for the Season 3 title!

Next week will be a one-off Pingolf tournament. With qualifications starting anytime from around 6pm and a quick finals beginning no later than 9:15pm. Come along if you're free and fancy some pinball/a fun night out.

Don't forget Tilt's Super Series #2 resumes on April 28th. You can pre-register via the website https://tiltbrum.com/#/super/

TILT PINGOLF - 27th February

Great turnout today, with 20 people taking part in the 11 hole pingolf tournament. Was nice to see familiar and new faces taking part and was a lot of fun.

Top 8 qualified for a ladder style quarter-finals to finals.

'Local Hero' Max Welch was the man who emerged victorious, fighting his way through each round with some impressive performances and then comfortably dispatching of 'Top Seeds', myself, Kirk and Wayne on Metallica.

Well played Max! Could Gareth Arnold's mantle of 'The People's Champ' be in jeopardy??
