Shadow for sale, owned for four years.
The chap I brought it from got it form Pinball Heaven back in 06 as one of their refurbs.
IMO its in nice condition for an original unrestored game.
I imagine the buyer won't get a chance to see the game in person, so I will try my best to give an accurate description.
I know this game pretty well, but should anyone spot anything I have overlooked please point it out.
Cabinet:
Front looks great, sides are good with a couple of touch ups on either side, minimal decal wear around legs
Underside is nice and flat with no signs of water damage, rear is pretty good, but with two chips near the bottom.
Backbox:
Warning silkscreen intact, side decals really good, small scuff on the upper left hand side painted section.
Original DMD is nice and bright with no missing lines, speaker panel looks great, original translite with 3 small touch ups on the upper right.
Metalwork:
Coin door, side rails and lockdown bar all fine, front legs great, rears slightly tarnished, but acceptable.
Electronics:
All look nice, not seeing any hacks or dodgy repairs. Its been largely reliable during my ownership so haven't really dealt with them much.
Playfield:
Overall really nice, two small marks above the 'K' and 'N' inserts, one side of the super jackpot insert is very slightly raised by about the width of a piece of paper.
One chip on the plastic by the wall target. 5mm hairline crack on the left return lane plastic and some cracking on the battlefield plastic.
Polished up ramps, upper ramp has two broken welds on the left (common on Shadow) may need repair at some point, but held up fine under my ownership.
Bronzed habitrails look great, all plating intact.
Shooter lane looks like new, as does the KHAN hole, wear on the mode saucer and sanctum is minimal.
Mods:
LED'd, with a mix of brands, lower GI has some 4/5 led comets and have added some gold spotlights.
Cliffy lane guides (minimise ball hop) side blades, brick wall at the back painted up to match the wall target.
Price:
£2.7k inc VAT and pallet shipping to most mainland UK addresses, may be extra if your particularly remote or have difficult access.
£2k if anyone fancies a trip to collect in person.
