Paid £1850 for this just under a year ago.
Looking for £1700
I have fitted Led's since getting it. Two under mini playfield still need fitting but I have got them.
Nice overall condition.
Cabinet and playfield very good
New apron cards.
All boards match.
Will come with rubber set ( not flipper rubbers)
Few new star posts...some already fitted.
City scape decal for back flashers
Led strip light for the back
Spotlight mod.
New set of clear plastics
Manual.
BAD POINTS.
plastics cracked under mini playfield..which cannot be seen until mini playfield is lifted.
The magnet......yep I know!!! Isn't currently working. Not really had a go at fixing it as I'm a complete amateur and the whole technical side to pinball machines baffle me !!
Needs new plug to get bottom half of back box lights working as it's burnt out....simple fix I think.
Only put a few pics on....if interested let me know , find WhatsApp is easier for me for pics.
I have an unused , Aurich translite and speaker panel still in protective wrap that I will give anyone interested in the machine first dibs on at a fair price.
If there are no takers I will hang on to it..........and get the magnet fixed !!!!
Cheers for looking...... Richy.
Ps... if anyone is interested I would much prefer you came and viewed.

Is the aurich translite from latest batch?
Waiting for mine. Can't wait to fit it.
Magnet area doesn't look too bad. Always a good sign of how much play the game has had over the years.
Glws.

I bought the Aurich off a forum member around a year ago so it will be his first batch.
Never understood the fuss about them so I never fit it....... however I just held it in front of a light on another arcade machine and it comes to life.....if the machine doesn't sell I will be putting it on.....a load of Led's behind it will look stunning........you won't be disappointed when yours arrives !!

I've seen this machine in the flesh and it's a lovely looking machine!!
If only I had more money or space!!!!!
Richy is a great guy to deal with, don't be put off by the couple of bits that need doing, better to know about the couple of bits than find a shed load of issues.
I think this is a great buy!!!
Here's his pictures in large scale full image.

Can't really understand why this hasn't sold yet. Aurich translite worth 150.
Game itself is brilliant. Last shadow on eBay nearing 2k I recall.
Where are the people looking for machines near 1500? Don't be scared to take the plunge.
Always thought shadow was the tz of the poor (like me I have one). Plenty to do.

The magnet issue is putting me off. Does anyone know if this an easy fix?

But isn't it half the fun? Fixing things that don't work. You feel so good when you eventually manage to fix a fault.

Today for the first time I turned on my Excalibur. It was sold as fully working. Turned it on, all gi on but nothing else. Didn't even know where to start to look. Asked on forum and Chris E suggested I tried something. Magic: it worked.
Feels so good when it happens.
There are other faults but I'll work through them with this forum if i need help.
If you are worried about faults, don't buy a 25 years old piece of electronic because you know it will go wrong at some point;)

The magnet is served by a fuse on the fliptronic board - could just be that. If it keeps blowing the fuse, could be a failed transistor on the fliptronic board or a faulty magnet. If magnet has had a hard life, might be drawing a little too much current for the 3A slow blow fuse that feeds that circuit.

Looking at the sanctum it isn't that worn so I suspect the magnet hasn't had a hard life.

It’s on the fliptronic board - top left in backbox. There are 4 on there, 2 above 2 vertically.

Ahh, thanks for that. Constructive input that potential buyers like myself find helpful [emoji106]
