Gottlieb Tee’d off - any ideas on price. Not having much luck searching on here due to the search not liking 3 letter words like off. Been offered one and I’ve never owned a Gottlieb before so have no idea on pricing or if I’ll struggle to resell it when i get bored of it. looks to be in nice condition. I still need to go watch some videos of it tomorrow but figured i would ask for people’s opinions on it tonight. Thanks.

Gottlieb dot matrix are bottom feeders even stargate is relatively low value
Street fighter and Mario punch higher due to themes

Teed off will need topper but still 2k max

Is odd as they are fun games.
Agreed! Tee’d off looked like a lot of fun. Topper also looked awesome. Seller valued it at 2.5k initially which is why i asked for valuations. It looked like a really nice example but I’ve been told I’ll struggle to move it on. Don’t really understand the hate for gottliebs. From what I’ve watched, game looks like it’ll be good to play. Sadly decided to decline the offer on this one though.

Yeah they just get a lot of hate for some reason and these days go dirt cheap. I think you would struggle to move on at 2500 and would take quite a big hit?

Rescue 911 went for 1750 on eBay , there was little interest on here as with most Gott DMDs . Some valuations as low as 1200 😬

I’d say that’s currently the ball park for the unloved Gott DMDs 1500 to 2000 and even then probably not a queue of buyers , with a few exceptions Stargate, SF2 , maybe Waterworld and Barb Wire due to relative rarity .

Trying to price the following...
BoP.
New playfield
New shuttle and centre ramps
Upgraded speakers
cabinet internals 'overhauled'...
Any Ideas?

That Bride of Pinbot shown four posts up doesn't have the metal box under the rotating head mechanism. Very occasionally, the head may rotate with a ball in place, which would be caught and channelled to the kickout at the top left corner of the playfield rather than falling into the cabinet.

That Bride of Pinbot has been in my possession for around 25 years and the head as never rotated with a ball in place - which is why I left the box off when I swapped the playfield. I still have it if it should be needed though.

Anyone have any idea what it's worth? How about one in 'original' good condition - what would that be worth ?

Thanks
Geoff

£1800 ish.

this is all out of sync imho
this pinbot gets valued at 1800 but a gotg at 5-6000
i sold a very nice gotg in i think 2022 for 5200 - though the cheapskate buyer beat me up for 200 at the last minute
I don't believe it's still the same cost four years later
I think you all over-value crappy fairly recent sterns and under-value classics
it's going to remain a pretty stagnant market till prices get more realistic

It’s likely based on what the the last machines (that I remember) sold for:

If things are too expensive, they don’t sell.
