Before I start I just wanna add that I have 2 non pinfo guys wanting to buy this already, so if no interest here I’ll let them come and maybe even make a little more on the deal.
One things for sure it won’t go via eBay to be flipped and lost forever and hopefully it keeps changing hands on here at a reasonable price.
In all honestly wanted to keep it as I still think this is of the best beginner pins out there with great flow and simple to understand rules so as a 1st pin you can’t go wrong. However the same old story as space is non existent here now and I can’t even find a place to tombstone it.
before committing to buying it I’m firm on price and it must go when my first of two pins arrive via Martin very soon! It can be collected at the same time via Martin or collected before he arrives.
OK now that’s aside on with the sale.
I have had this pin through my hands now 3 times and in that time have installed a full set of my Flourecent Acid Green Protectors as well as converting to premium colour co-ordinated LEDs. This last time it needed a couple of wires re soldered and I had the inline Filter replaced thankfully via ChrisB. Apart from these last couple of problems this pin has performed absolutely flawlessly and I have had at least 30-40 games whilst it’s in the garage being worked on.
The Good.
I would class this as a really nice players condition pin which has a really nice Playfield and very little wear just maybe a few spots around the lenses which have to be scrutinised closely to even notice them.
It has no broken plastics whatsoever and I have replaced the ramp supercharger plastic with one of my own making as these are usually trashed badly.
I have also re-done the clear ones which freshens up the table nicely and gets rid of the usual old smoky twisted and worn out ones.
This honestly looks stunning in the flesh as the Flo Protectors bling it to another level and work so well on this pin.
Nice Powder coated legs in a kinda blackish sparkle (I’m colour blind)
No hacked or burned connectors on the board set and everything looks good as far as I can see.
Full premium set of LEDs including behind translite but original flashers.
Plays flawlessly and topper spins and lights up as it should.
The not so good.
Cabinet has usual fade but In a lineup who cares.
Also some slight scratches to the artwork but it’s generally in good nick with the bonus of NO lock bar hols either side of cash Door. My last couple of HS2s did have em.
Slight dents on the side rails as Shown on pics
Rust on one of the hinges and some of the outer cabinet bolts
slight rust spots on the apron.
some wear in shooter Lane.
Please Note! Its not a candidate for a collector restore, re-decal & Powder Coat ect so just enjoy it for what it is a Players Pin!
I would love to see this kept in the community as it’s been through lots of members the past few year and at least four I know of and I doubt it will devalue in this mad climate so a no brainer if you’ve had this pin before and just want another fix before moving it on.
”Make your mind up time Billy!”
