The Chinese connection

You called it! Did you know it would be this bad, and how much further do you reckon it will fall?
I've a feeling it'll get worse yet, especially with the US just printing money. It's only the "banksters" who'll be bailed out. I certainly don't blame Trump for the situation he's inherited.
I don't think Dow / FTSE drops to 2005 levels or worse are unthinkable. I'd not be buying any stock (if I had money) quite yet.

No, only monkeys pick bottoms.

I have feeling we are going back to the gold standard.

I'd seriously consider moving more to cash mate or to government bonds or gold, talk to your IFA though!

you don't blame for the situation he's inherited? WTF? He knew about this in January, did **** all about it. He lies consistently even when the scientists stand next to him and call him a liar. the clown dumped all the pandemic response units in the USA.... oh but he briefed all his buddies who then sold all their stocks!

stock market always recovers in time since the 1900s its just timing that screws people, a few folks close to retirement ignored my advice to move to cash and one of them thinks he'l have to work another five years now.

It's all part of narrative Neil just go along with it, don't fight it. ;)

I’m a bit of an amateur at this but I’m learning fast. I’d put a big chunk into bond funds after the credit crunch because I thought they would be low risk, turns out they weren’t.
Predicting the bottom may be for monkeys but I’m going to have a shot at it, had never heard of “follow through day” before now I’m an expert at spotting one (I wish:D).
Got a bad feeling that monday is going to be another bloodbath as reality kicks in about the rapidly escalating cases.

I am thinking Monday FTSE will gap up then fall. But if they have pumped money in who knows, it's a casino.

what bonds?

A few different funds, for example Royal London Sterling Extra Yield Bond, on the Hargreaves Landsown wealth 50 list. But I’ve rapidly lost faith in that so happy to be re-educated if you can help.

Government bonds if you head in that direction.
