Does anyone have a Williams Teachers Pet manual for sale? Or one I can get a copy of?
Thanks.

Thanks GrizZ. I will go and check that out but I'm still looking for an actual manual if anybody has one!

I once owned a 1975 Gottlieb 'Spin Out', which was to some extent an updated 'Buckaroo'. It had a schematic and a thin would-be manual (with the backglass racing car motif on the cover), which gave some details of parts used, such as wiper/contact discs, playfield parts, etc, and details of the game start-up sequence, but it wasn't as extensive as the game manuals found in solid state machines.

The same site, a local swimming pool, also had a 1967 Williams 'Magic City', which didn't have a manual as such, but (I think) there was a printed sheet of paper with a playfield drawing and list of rubber ring sizes.

So the supply of some sort of information manual, in addition to a schematic, probably started between those dates.

HTH.

To further this, I've just unearthed an original document envelope for Williams 'Apollo' (1967). It seems almost complete, down to a "Printed Material Check-Off List". In addition to generic information sheets about removing the backglass, adjusting coin chutes, etc, there are the following game-specific sheets listed;

"Adjustment Sheet", giving the location and function of each game adjustment plug/socket or switch.

"Post Adjustment Sheet", a playfield drawing showing rubber ring sizes/location and Lib/Med/Cons adjustable post locations.

"Coil Chart", listing number and location of motors, transformer, meter, solenoid coils, relay coils, and giving details (contact discs, wipers and ratchets) of the game's step units, as well as rubber rings used.

As well, of course, as the schematic.

Teachers Pet probably had much the same documentation supplied.
