System 11 - Display Intermittent - Sound Gone

Freaking Taxi, can you believe it!

Streaming last night and all of a sudden the sound started freaking out on taxi, but the game continued as normal, then on next ball, it just died.

It is now booting, but display is in and out and sound is crackling as anything, I am guessing power board - start by testing voltages?

Reseat the ribbon cables first..!

I have already reseated ribbon cable for both the sound and display but will dip out and do again.

Be a blanking issue as when that comes on the display kicks in the. Drops

Not yet - planning on replacing BR1 today in case there is any discrepancy in the 5V then move on from that...

You got a test meter? On the face of it the 5VDC looks ok from the photos.

Yes and 5V seemed solid - this was on the advice of Mark S - so going to try that then move on to other things - bloody thing
