System 11 Backbox Locking Mech

My Taxi has the backbox lock on the side of the head and all that is left is the drilled out lock.

Last time it had it at a show the backglass cracked in transit because it wasn't secured in place, I see the original lock mech comes in multiple parts and one part in particular may be hard to find.

Anyone had similar issues with a system 11 project, any luck adapting the head to the later style backbox locking mech?

Hi Chris, if it was possible to fit a lock in the middle like the later models I have a spare plate with lock and key, if any use your welcome to it.

I would suggest keeping the game original. Someone will have the bits you need from a scrapper

Thanks Ronnie for the offer I have a spare backbox lock kit for the later model, I also have a new system 11 lock and cam I needed the 3rd part the bar, I'll put out the feelers would be good to keep it original.
