Big thanks to everyone, great weekend - so many people asked if we can do it again so despite my wish to escape the damn thing I'll probably do it again next year.
HUGE shout out to all the folk involved from the humpers and movers, donators of prizes, chippers in to charity (some super generous folk this year), loaners of tables, raffle organisers, the thre key sponsors Pinball Heaven, Pinball Mania and Retro Arcade Pinball.
I'll get some proper thanks up on the site and the charity certificate once the online donations have percolated through, but the local cash tally was ~£1050 between the raffle and the tin and online should be in excess of £600 so a bumper result for UKPIP's our charity.
As far as I know the main failing this year was the chef throwing a sickie along with one of the serving staff leaving the meal coming out a bit slow and two steaks swapped between Phil and Vin, next year I'm going back to big bowls of salad and chips on the table - but if there are any (polite) improvement suggestions PM me as usual.
Here's a few piccies:
I'll update the website and announce the dates for next year (28-30th June) on the website here:
https://sites.google.com/site/swaveseypinball/ when I have all the details sorted, in the meantime Martin is working on an article which will be better written than my efforts.
