Yes despite two years of enforced retirement the summer beckons, new tables need playing and, lets be honest, that beer will not drink itself ;)

After quietly trying to let the damn thing die once again I've been persuaded to run 'this thing of ours' (as we old Modfathers like to call it) by the usual epic folk who always help and assist - you know who you are 👍

All welcome, laid back and friendly, UK Cup on Sunday for those who are into the thrill of the competition, chat, friendship and free advice for those that prefer the sun.

This year I have another grandchild due the same weekend so this seemed like the best way to upset my entire family and get to wet the babies head with people I actually like :)

B2K or TOM would be my backups if Diner happens to be sad at the time but they're already going 😆
So it'll be Diner with AFM or Zaccaria Locomotion in reserve.

@Pinballsurgery - what are the local taxi services like to get back (late) to a hotel in St Ives or Cambridge? The last thing I'll want to be doing is driving! 🙂

There’s Panther who have an app that shows you where they are line a poor man’s Uber. https://www.panthertaxis.co.uk/

There’s also Village Cars in Swavesey but you need to book 01954 232715

I would suggest finding out where everyone is bunked ups and then sharing a cab as that’s the best cost option
