Hi Gang

Selling my STTNG. Bought in pieces as a project that I intended to make a minter out of eventually but I have lost interest so it's up for sale!

I'm not sure it's fair to call it a project as it is fully working. But I guess I would have to describe it as a half finished project from my point of view as I put it all back together with the intention of going all out on it and only got so far:

Added a ColorDMD which is awesome on this game.
Replaced all posts, lane dividers, star posts with new clear ones.
Re-rubbered the whole machine.
Added all new colour rubber posts - purple and dark blue.
Replaced all 3 flipper bats and added purple Superbands.
Installed a flipper rebuild kit on the lower flippers. (Didn't change the EOS switches though but they will be included in the spare parts.)
Started to LED the game but run out of them and never went back to it. The playfield GI is all done and probably about 60% of the inserts are done (with Superbrights) but haven't done the backbox.
Installed new balls.

As I say, the game is fully working as it is right now.
The playfield have been cleaned and polished and is in nice shape with just a little wear to the Neutral Zone scoop. The cab is in decent shape too with just a few knocks here and there but nothing major. (Cab pics coming asap.) The boards are all good with no nasty hacks etc.

There are a few negatives to mention:

Some of the metal work could do with a decent clean up. I think the game must have been stored somewhere damp as I had to sort out a fair bit of corrosion when I got it. I've sorted most of it but there are still a few bits that could do with a spruce up. Mainly under the playfield and cab bolt heads etc.
A couple of plastics are cracked including the left sling.
Rivets are visible on the lockdown bar.
The playfield has to be lifted up higher than normal to engage the brackets in the lock position. I suspect that is due to a bent support. A a pair of replacement supports are included in the sale.

That's about it really, condition-wise.

The game also comes with 2 big boxes of STTNG spare parts. This includes lots of plastics, mechs, coils, ball guides, wire forms, lamp boards and so on. Some of this is probably ****e and fit for the bin but a lot of it is fine and a treasure trove of spares. It could all do with a clean though!
Also comes with a copy of the manual.

It has the potential to be a really nice game but could definitely benefit from some further TLC at this point so I would encourage anyone interested to come and have a look for yourselves ideally. Here are some pics for now. I'll get some of the cab, boards, under playfield and maybe a short video too.

I could do with shifting this so I'm dropping the price.

2200 with the ColorDMD or 1950 with a standard DMD.

Cheers
Dean

I've been looking for a STTNG for a while. Shame it's not September - I'd have the money. I drove 200 miles to see a dog of a STTNG three months ago and walked away - it was the same price too. Good luck with the sale. If it lasts another two or three pay packets I'll be in for it.

Some cab and board pics as promised. Just shot a very quick vid too and will post when it has finished uploading to YouTube.

Here is the video. It's just a very quick one to show that everything is working and there is no faults etc.
