A friend of mine is selling his STTNG. What budget do you have in mind?
My Shadow will be for sale at 8bitflip, its currently in the middle of a full shop job.

Was thinking of moving the STTNG on at some point but I'm loathe to do so right now as its pledged to 8bitflip.

Could potentially be tempted to move my shadow on, but it would need a strong offer!
It was fully shopped and LED'd in 2013 by our own Newdos on this forum, I have the full shop log.
Since then I have added the Aurich artwork from the USA but still have the original Baldwin versions.

Have I owned one, no I have not, I wouldn't buy a game that I don't like playing as much .
I apologise if I have caused you great offense by not liking it and labelling it as 'gash' without giving my reasons why at the time. To answer the question, I don't like it because:
A) I don't like the theme at all
B) The guns blocking the view at the top of the slings (gripe with AC/DC too but not to the same extent)
C) The side drains caused by the sling angles at the top of them
D) The repetitive 'shoot the centre scoop at the top for jackpots' in multiball
E) I just don't like the general flow of the game, which is odd as I like most of Steve Richie's games and widebodys too
All the above are my opinion and I completely appreciate if others love the game which is great (also props if you like a game Popeye too, more power to you, I just don't). If we all liked the same games as much as each other then heaven knows what the marketplace would be like. Also in over 450 posts you'll find its only a very small percentage make reference to Popeye and I'm pretty sure that those on here who own it and love it (Grizz and Deano) know it's just banter.

I don't really like Judge Dredd, its so boring and soulless... Everyone's different, life would be boring if we all liked the same things.
Agree Carl and I can't get away with judge dredd either but I love my STTNG (apart from the bloody drains!!)

JD can be a bit marmite - Even between games.
Sometimes I think they could have done more with it - There can be shots/ loops that don't really do anything. But then I get a game where it all flows with chain features/ multiballs and crimescenes galore and its suddenly buzzing.
I think its a machine that suffers at shows more than most as a lot of the humour and links to the theme are lost if you can't hear it above the other 50 or so machines nearby. It doesn't appear to be as loud as most other machines for some reason either which doesn't help.

I never minded the STTNG and have just taken one in from a friend to work on. 'Gash; is harsh, it does have weaknesses as stated but the theme, mission and audio are good. I enjoyed playing it again. Not one I want in my current collection but at the current prices on ebay (1600-1800) I reckon they are pretty good value. Responds very well to LEDs too.
Anyone any pics/video of an STTNG with LED's?? Dont think I've seen one!
As much as I don't like playing STTNG, it does look great with LEDs on, especially the 3 banana shaped inserts above the enterprise. Bright blue ones really make it stand out.
