Just thought I’d let anyone else know that may be interested in a nice find on eBay.
It’s a sign for stranger things, made of wood and looks great unlit but comes with a usb plug and when plugged in lights up red.
Excuse the photos, my phone shows some yellow with the red, but to the eye it’s just red.
The sign is very well made, and light.
Is just over 26” wide and although not wider than the machine it doesn’t quite fit in between the recessed top, but I’m either going to use some black angle and attach it to the topper fixings on the machine, or just cut the front bottom corners, either way, I think it suits the machine very well and I got it for £30 including delivery and ordered it Thursday night and it arrived this morning.
I’ve seen and had far more expensive toppers that aren’t built as well or suit the machine as much as this, so thought someone else may want one.

As I haven’t had time to sort out some U channel to fix it to the machine, my wife agreed to hold it in position while I play.
Well it’s one way of stopping her kicking my **** on my machine 😂😂😂

Looks really cool. How are you powering it?
It comes with a usb cable so to test I just plugged it into a usb battery bank.
I’m getting some L channel to attach it to the screws on top of backbox for mounting topper then I’ll drop the cable through the hole in the top and either run it from the 12v off the spike board or possibly a wifi rgb supply and run speaker lights too.

2 x 1m lengths of aluminium L angle arrived yesterday.
Cut both to fit the width of the top of the backbox.
One piece I marked and drilled the 2 holes where the screws were for fixing topper and an additional 4 holes in the other side to fix to topper, this piece has the short side down and long up as topper is wider than the inside of the backbox, I didn’t want to cut the topper so came up with another idea.
The second piece lays on the wide side with short side up and effectively acts as a trim to block the gap from the bottom of the topper to the backbox.
I cutout where 2 other screws were so it would push back as well as cutting 2 V shapes so as it would slide under the other bracket, under the 2 screws so both would be clamped together with just the 2 screws.
I then found a piece of plastic translite trim, cut it to the same width and fixed using double sided tape after I had sprayed both pieces with black paint.
Marked the 4 holes on the back of topper, drilled and screwed.
Then really easy to slide both pieces In place, put the 2 screws from machine in and solid as a rock.
Now just need to sort out a permanent supply from the machine .

It’s been a while but if anyone else got this topper and wanted a very quick and easy power solution then I bought a 12v to 5v board from Amazon for £6 delivered.
Put Velcro on the back and stuck it in the back box.
Used a simple connector and short length of wire to feed the board 12v from the power board and then simply plugged the usb cable from the topper into it.
No modifications and can easily be removed.
Job done !
I also added Dougs speaker lights to finish it off.
No acrylics needed as it’s having a magnetic speaker art panel 😃
