Actually might be interested in a stargate but at my price point so I’ll probably end up importing one.

Star Wars and JP2 (Prem) are the two pins most obviously missing from the Stern room at Pinball Republic.

Having played Star Wars on Brighton Pier, it's really good if you're in it for the gameplay and not implementation of the theme.

It's one of the worst game play experiences you can have playing a Stern.

The scoring is dominated by playfield multipliers, low scoring modes locking you out of further progress, awful feed from shooter lane making ball save often pointless, video mode which is ridiculous but can be worth over 1 billion, the list goes on.

Have the played the later codes, as a lot of that of ironed out.

Each to their own, but Star Wars is one of my favourites.

Anyway, sorry, I am taking Neil’s wanted post off track!

And from my old DJ Lord McRae days sometimes the crowd want you to play that turd song from AQUA! 😂😅😅

At risk of derailing the thread further, I've played Star Wars a couple of times on Brighton Pier, watched Gonzo's expert playthrough video, and it's definitely one I'd like to explore further. It has great satisfying flow and, as I'm a fan of 70s/80s pins, I am unafraid of the use of playfield multipliers! 😈

I'll probably watch the Gonzo play though again to see if he mentions the video mode.

I'm not really at a level of playing ability where scoring being unbalanced on a specific mode is a huge issue for me.

I wasn’t really interested in the multiplayers. Hard enough just getting thru the modes. Bare playfield but it’s been cleverly worked by the boss. Really fast!

There is one in Brewdog Shepherd's Bush, along with POTC, GOTG, JP2 & Star Trek!
I've been trying to get down there for a while, but it's not at my end of London and I'd have to fit the trip around the little boys somehow. We're planning to go back to Brighton to take the little boys to the aquarium, and they have a SW on the pier (along with a Led Zeppelin Pro).

They also have an LE under Southend Pier if you are ever down there. That is where I first played Star Wars (and hated it first time too…..).

I've never played Star Wars but it can't be Ghostbusters bad surely? Stern do love an elite theme balls up

I've only ever played Star Wars once and that was when it was first released. It felt totally underwhelming. Need to play it again.
