Stern Powder Coating Premium model

Quick question

When you all get your premium / pros powder coated do you buy a new raw metal set of amour or do the powder coaters blast the original powder coating off the steel?

Asking as just about to get my Foo Fighter's premium coated from the standard black coating.

They will sand blast that off for you.

I don’t think you can buy metal amour that is not already powder coated.

I’ve accumulated a spare set of:

2x lollipop rails
2x back box hinges
1x Lockdown bar
4x stern legs (and 4x B/W)

Which I tend to get done leaving the game untouched and then swap in situ.

They’ll sandblast any existing paint off whatever you give them.

I do exactly the same
