Wanted Stern Lollipop Siderails

Anybody got a set that can send out pretty fast ?
After my disaster with powder coating I am going to get all parts plated.
The standard siderails have protectors fitted and as I'm going to all this expense I might as well get the proper siderails.

It was meant to be gold and came out ****e and all the guy can say is I picked the colour.
It is nothing like the colour,
I asked for gold, the sample card looks gold and the bits are orange red !
So going to send them all off to be plated.

I know Phil has them but he is away, I will see how soon the other place can get them, I just want to get them sent off early next week as I'm so mad looking at how they have come back.

Phil will be shipping monday - is there a reason why he can not ship direct to the platers ? That way they will have them tuesday.

PS - Agree - that is not gold. I had a similar argument with my sprayer - he painted a guitar black when it should of been purple... He told me I picked the colour. :)
 
I'd refuse to pay as he's done the wrong colour. Or get them to redo it.

If it is a business then I wouldn't have an issue doing that. That's not what he's asked for, he's has a right to ask it to be sorted.

Why should he take it on the chin? If you had your car resprayed either whole or just a touch up and it was wrong you're seriously telling me you would pay and walk out the door.

It looks the right colour around the area flash has highlighted, always dodgy picking a colour from a a picture ..

Id be looking a discount to get it re powder coated by the same guy. if determined to go the plating route, get a trial piece done first as it might look dump also (by dump i mean not the colour you thought it would be, looks great otherwise)
