Stern Galaxy light issue

OK I’ve absolutely no idea when it comes to the pre 90s pins bar system 11 and my Stern Galaxy has a fault if like to rectify before it gets to Pinfest as it’s in the lineup for the classics comp.

Everything seems to work as it should bar a few inserts that are not lighting up primarily the 2x and 3x ones.
There is a couple more which escape me but I could check later today as it’s currently set up at NERG.

On a side note if anyone would like to borrow it until Pinfest and maybe help with the problem they are welcome as it will have to be Tombstoned till then anyway.
Also if anyone currently has a van load of pins heading back that way after NERG finishes and Galaxy could possibly hitch a lift with them please give me a shout as it would be really appreciated.

It’s usually 4. unfortunately. Maybe someone got a working spare board at nerg, or some spare scr’s ?

1. Nope that was my 1st check
2. This was an issue with some other bulbs mainly due to oxidisation
3. I reseated them but really should try a fibre glass pen on them to be sure.
4. I haven’t a Scooby but I’ll ask Poi some point today but don’t want to tie up the game or the maintenance staff while it’s there and kinda working.

I had this the other day on my old one and it was the connector/pins, 2 lamps not lighting. Checked schematics to find which pins (2 pins next to each other) and wiggled/pushed and could see them come on so pulled off and cleaned up. Still working but now have another insert with a dodgy lamp holder that’s annoying me as it’s tempremental

I can fix it. you can just send me the lamp driver board after nerg. i’ll test it and fix any issues.
