Stern DMD one dot out

Ive got a Stern IJ - my first game with a led dot matrix display - and one dot is out.

All the others are fine and so I can't think of any explanation other than that one led is dead, but am I missing something?

If it is dead, does anyone know if the individual 16x16 led panels that make up the 128 x 32 display are available (and has anyone tried replacing one?) or is the only solution a whole new display - and if so are those available?

I had a single dot out on my spiderman when I got it, bought a replacement segment from Sean at pinball palace, very cheap too. The website seems to be back up now although I don't think you'll find the segment you want there. Send him an email. It was really easy to replace, just gently prise the segment off the pins it's connected to. I had to send him my dodgy segment so he could get a match.
