Hi it was the first pin I owned about 10 years ago, always regret selling it, plus a big fan of the film, and sadly only have room for one more machine, its a pretty tough one to find though found one in Germany pinballking.net, but not sure what they are like for machines!
 
Hold on and wait.
The right machine will come up its just a waiting game.
Never rush into buying a pin, thats how things can get messy.

Might be moving mine on later in the year. Currently up to my max number. Probably wouldn't be the next to go (suspect RFM will take that honor) but I think it would be lucky to still be here by Dec time. All depends what comes up before then.
 
I have a good SST but I want to hold on to it till at least NERG. Even then, I'm still not too sure about selling it. Darren and Mark will vouch for it's condition.

That's cool no problem let me know if you decide to sell it! not in a major hurry to get one, whats the rough value for one? was looking at a sst for just over £2,000 which is tempting
 
2k for a SST - turn up tonight and take it! Hell, I'll even help you load it.

I'd be amazed if the going rate was over 1k. All the SEGAs seem to be in the £700-£1000 bracket. Even with recent rapid pinflation 2k is crazy land.

Cool its a tough one as I have only ever seen 3or4 come up for sale 1 which I brought over 10 yrs ago, but sadly sold it along with lost world and starwars tri to buy a new lotr when it was first released, ill keep searching

That seems pretty cheap considering they seem so hard to find, if you do decide to sell let me know as I would rather get it from the uk plus a reliable source.

There was a SST on £600 BIN about 6 months ago. Admittedly that was underpriced but still the market value was never double that.

Having said that, of course if you really want one and have deep pockets then you will pay whatever the asking price is, and then the 'market value' apparently skyrockets. I suppose the less there are of a title then the more each individual sale affects the going rate. By that argument I could sell my BTTF for 1800 as there's none around and I had loads of requests, but I still think it's worth what I paid, And that SST is worth 700-900 if you find an honest seller

Yes its a very nice one.
In fact I had my eye on it becaues it was in such good nic.
 
My SST might be on the hit list, need to see how space pans out when the next batch of machines arrive.
 
SST is the best Sega game (or the only good Sega game? ;) )

It's got to be £1k+ these days. I paid £700 for mine and that must have been many many years ago now.

Thanks for all the responses and advice, decided to hang on for a bit and not go for the 2k machine in germany will wait for one to come up in the uk, please let me know if any of you that have sst decide to sell and let me know how much you want and ill be waiting with the cash.
