Starship Troopers mini project for sale - £1,000 including delivery to Southampton
The main issue one of the flipper brackets has sheered off (see picture) so that would need replacing. Before that happened it was fully working and played nice.
All the targets work in switch mode but a few don’t register unless you hit them bang on so could do with some adjusting. The saucer switch on the left wasn’t registering when I bought it but a bit of adjustment has sorted that out. As you can see in your pictures the lock bar and side rails have a bit of bubbling as do the leg levers. The head brackets aren’t too bad and you can’t really see those anyway. The playfield is pretty good besides a small bit of wear where ball kicks out next to the right ramp jackpot/trooper insert you can see in one of the pictures. Wear around the flipper buttons on the cabinet. I think that’s all of the bad points for full disclosure!
It is an almost fully working pin which will need some adjust to get it playing perfect. A nice small project for someone.
I have a new set of flipper rubbers for the three flippers I’ll pack up with the pin and I printed out and bound the manual when I got it which would help if you wanted to tinker with it.
