The new Star Wars home edition is getting some interesting official optional upgrades.
The accessories include a Millenium Falcon for the playfield, side blades and “a really kick ass upgraded sound system”.
In Topper news; when it finally lands - the R2D2 topper from the big games plugs & plays.
To create the new shots and make it flow better George Gomez moved everything from the Spidey playfield this is based on. Every ball guide, post, etc is new.
After watching the Dead Flip stream on Twitch; I liked it more than the pro! The new code seems to flow more smoothly than the previous game; it’s less stop / start than the pro /premium/le.
There’s a nice new ball lock feature, metal ramps, drop targets in front of one ramp. Video clips appear more packed and varied than the previous games (yep it’s on a small screen).
The game sounds soooo much better than the official promo video (which used sound-alike “not Star Wars” music.
The new game features the official John Williams theme.
The sound design seems to be tighter / pack more punch than the pro/premium/le.
It’s a full-sized playfield.
I’m a Star Wars fan. The Pro/ premium/ LE didn’t hook me in.
So a used pro isn’t an option.
This is a new game - sharing the media from the previous game.
Load it up with the extras, the sound system upgrade and the R2D2 topper - i’m really tempted!!
