I have decided to part company with my Star Trek TNG pinball machine. Having owned it for several years now it`s time to move on to something different.
It`s in good working order and plays really well. No known faults .
There has been a mixture of leds and new bulbs fitted around five years back. The flippers have coloured `perfect play` rubbers fitted along with coloured slingshot rubbers and rubbers posts.
New legs, levellers, leg bolts and light blue cabinet protectors fitted last year along with a new dot matrix display. The sixteen opto board was replaced a few years back and more recently the ball trough transmitter board was renewed.
The cabinet is nice enough though the right hand side backbox isn`t so good. Also near the rear of the right hand siderail is a dent. Playfield is no better and no worse than many i have seen. Main area of wear is at the Neutral Zone at the far top left. You can easily cover it with a cliffy protector if you wish though i find quite often if they do not fit well they can make it harder for the ball to go in the hole.
Machine comes with an original manual, spare cannon wiring looms brand new but never needed, a spare set of custom instruction cards for the apron.
I would consider a cheaper machine in part exchange. For trade purposes i value my machine at £3,500. If nothing of interest comes along i will sell the TNG without a p/ex.
I would welcome anyone interested to come over to play the game and see it in the flesh so to speak ! Location is East Kilbride G74 4NX. I can also arrange delivery via a carrier if required normally for around £100 though please check with me first.
Even though i can consider the TNG one of the best pinballs i have played in over 30 years in this hobby i would not recommend buying one for a newcomer unless you have some basic knowledge of getting in and about these machines. The one thing i can guarantee is that sooner or later you are going to have to get the playfield up and do some work ! That is just the nature of the beast.
Thanks,
John.
