Star Trek The Next Generation (Willams 1993)
I am very reluctantly offering for sale my STTNG pinball machine due to a forthcoming move meaning I will no longer have the space (pardon the pun!).
This fantastic Star Trek themed pinball is in absolute tip top condition both cosmetically and operationally. It plays superbly and is immaculate in every detail. The cabinet and back box are pristine and there is no fading of the artwork on the side, front or back box sides. The playfield is clean, the artwork bright and unmarked with no fading. The chrome ball rails are polished and bright with no rust spots. Everything works as it should, including all the bulbs, and it has been recently fully serviced by Andy from Pinball Mania. Because I am not in the slightest technical or knowledgeable about the workings of pinball machines I have never even opened the front door (other than to peer inside) so it has not been touched or fiddled with by me in any way and only Andy has ever “gone inside” when he makes his annual visit to check it over for me. It has probably been played less than thirty times since his last visit, so it is all working perfectly. When I first bought the machine Andy installed a brand new Pinsound board (which I have tried to show in the photo of the inside of the backbox) which delivers stunning sound effects and beautiful rich sounding music from the Star Trek movie and speech with the original actor’s voices. The display (DMD) is bright and clear with no lines missing and there are no error messages on start up etc.
When I purchased this Pinball I had been searching for the “right” machine for a long time and had looked at dozens of other machines and travelled many miles to view so called “stunning” examples. This one just stood head and shoulder above all the others I viewed, it was and still is immaculate. Because of its condition it seems likely it has had “home use only” as the previous owner had it for fifteen years having himself bought it from a “home owner”. So it looks and plays like a brand new machine! (the photos don’t really do it justice I’m afraid but my camera is not great and the reflections in the glass don’t help – sorry. So come and see it!)
This is a really fun, fast game to play with many great features (such as the cannons, the Borg ship, multiball sequences, asteroid storms, etc) and the superb Pinsound with effects, film music soundtrack and character voices add an epic atmosphere! So, if you are looking for something that looks and plays brilliantly, is in excellent overall condition and will provide much fun for all, then this STTNG could be the one, you won’t be disappointed!
The machine comes with an original owner’s / operator’s manual and included with the sale is a set of new unused carbon steel balls, three packs of spare bulbs, and three unopened bottles of Novus wax / polish (see photo).
