It's both ............regular and VE

VE will run on the older version ColorDMD apparently. Regular SM needs the new hardware.

First time I played the original I thought the display was sausaged. Just a garbled mess.

Looks **** loads better. Shame that it needs new hardware but presumably its backwardly compatible for the other games. Needed something to get me to buy another one with Stern fixings and I suspect this will be it.

Looks like they upgraded the hardware baseline and SM needs that as a minimum. I hope ST doesn't need it too as I put an older sigma in there ages ago!

Wonder if they'll sell individual upgraded boards? 32Mbit to 64Mbit
