Bit confused with this one.
My understanding (backed up by playing on a site machine today) is that the first ball into the DOC causes him to come down and the 2nd will then be caught on the magnet and start multi-ball (and video clip). (we're talking the 1st multiball not bank raid)
On my game this used to happen then it changed to the first ball brings down the Doc AND starts the multiball (and the video). Can't see any flakey switches that would cause the to register a double hit (this issue happens every single game). Stuck it on switch test and banged about. Nothing flicks on. Opto seems to work fine in switch test
Wondered if I had somehow changed the settings but changed them back to factory restore and the issue still happens. Played around and set the Doc on to hard mode and still the same issue happens. Doc works fine in test mode.
Any clues? Anyone else ever had this issue? Are we more likely to be looking at a hardware or software issue? Is the 2nd "hit" somehow being triggered by the DOC being moved down?
