Hi guys,

do Southpark pins come up for sale often? what sort of money do they go for? or does anyone have one they might be interested in shifting? (any condition considered)

i have heard they are quite easy but i have always loved southpark and i am now planning a new purchase for my 30th birthday present so thought i would check about this pin before sinking my money into something else!
cheers

They do pop up from time to time, but of course the unwritten rule of pinball clearly states that when you are looking for a title it suddenly becomes likes finding the original copy of the bible :)

Fun game, especially if you are a fan of SP. Yeah pretty easy, but sometimes thats ok in a game. Was hugely popular on site back in the day. I'd say 900 - 1200 depending on condition.

SP is one of those games that the purists like to slag off just because it's not desperately difficult like Shadow or Dracula or Whitewater, but is simple to play and looks fun (like a poor man's Monster Bash) but I love it. I have my second one now and it will be in Manchester this weekend.

South Park was the game that finished off Bally Williams back in 99 - BWS had Star Wars ep 1 but was totally out of sync with the films and had accidentally released a crappy game, then Sega hit a home run with SP which was also cheaper to buy and more fun to play, and it was really popular. Game over for Pin2K

in June 2011 i paid 800
in August 2015 i paid 1250

Well I'm not a pinball purist (easy games are fine with me!) and I'm a big South Park fan who was looking forward to getting the game having had a few plays on one in a pub back in '99 and enjoying it.

In home use it lasted about a week, its not that it's too easy it's because you have to hit the same shots again and again and again, with no progression or variation, that got so boring that even the (funny) voice calls and sounds couldn't keep up my interest.

It may be that I missed something that others see or just wasn't good enough to get into more interesting areas of gameplay.....but the only way I'd have another one is for occasional laughs in a big lineup of games! :)

SP was my first 4 figure game but that was in 2001! Sold it to a book dealer in Wem who had a South Park corner nestled amongst thousands of high brow antique books

really enjoyed revisiting SP at the NLP. a nice beers with the lads type game. the one on gumtree is priced about right but obviously be wary of scams. the £250 whirlwind turned out well for someone so this could too

Cheers for that but I have just got back from picking up a HS2 this evening!! So I will have to wait for a SP
