One of the LEDs on my SM pop bumper had gone, so I recently replaced it. It powers up fine when I first turn the pin on, but when I get a credit to start a game (when the LEDs should power off) the other two pop bumper LEDs power off, but this one remains on, albeit at maybe half or quarter full brightness. Any ideas what it could be - I did notice some of the insulation on the wire to this LED was worn (melted?) so covered that up. I got the new LED from Andy he said it was not an original Stern part, but the same spec, so I'm guessing it is not the LED itself, but I'm really not sure.
