Site Issue - all photos are sideways???

When I upload pics from my phone (iphone) to pinballinfo, they are now turning 90 degrees sideways? Never used to happen?
Anyone else got the same issue?

I believe the forum software uses the image information in the original picture to orient which way up it should display it (i.e. if its taken in portrait it should display in portrait).

Though it could feasibly get it wrong...

strange the photos all appear on my iphone the correct orientation and if I download to my laptop, they are fine, it's only when uploading to the site they turn?

I noticed that when my phone uploaded a webp image, it does it... When I download the images from the forum, rotate them on my PC and reupload as PNGs they're fine... Could be something to do with the formatting?

Fixed - Image attachments rotated since the update

Yesterday, I installed the latest update, V2.3.7. When attachments are uploaded to posts or the gallery, they are either rotated 90°, 180°, or sometimes not rotated at all. This problem did not occur before the update.

I havent rebuilt the master data, since whilst that might fix those images that have previously been uploaded, it may well break some other things... however anything new that is uploaded from this point should now be correct (you will need to use a different image though, since that one will be cached)
Anything previously uploaded will be corrected when the next version is updated (since that rebuilds the master data as part of the update process).
