Hello
My friend is selling this and as he's out of the hobby asked me to list it. You would deal with him directly and pay and collect from him etc.
Here's what he's sent to me:
"There is no power where it is stored so I don’t have the means to demonstrate it working. I accept that this will likely impact the sale but there’s nothing I can do about it. In theory there is the space to unwrap it all, lay it flat and let the buyer see it but that’s not great if they then don’t take it. At a push I could get it moved somewhere with someone else who might be able to set it up but that’s asking a lot of someone and I can only really think of you or Pob, possibly Rav. Any suggestions, shout.
Also, my storage is 30 miles away from me so a collection from a courier is probably not going to happen unless they are going to be VERY flexible on working with me to make sure I meet them there so ideally it has to be collection in person and bank transfer on the day when we are all happy.
This is the most recent photos I have - just before it was packed up, wrapped in pallet wrap and stored (I sent them to you at the time):

This album is full of the historical stuff, there’s photos from when I first bought it, restored it and repaired the DMD, some general pics right through most of the pics I have from the SW events that feature people signing it. There are more pics from SW days but I haven’t bothered as they’re blurry or whatever. I know there will be a lot of stuff missing from there because I wasn’t always around to photograph the signers - obviously I was really busy at those events.

There are signatures on there that frankly, I’d have to ask a Star Wars expert to know who some of the people are but some of the more obvious mentions:
OK, condition: I’d put it as average condition for it’s age. From memory it’s all original except potentially a couple of the yellow drop targets. I’m never sure whether they were solid yellow out of the factory or if they were translucent gold colour.
It came over from a trip to Belgium in (at a guess) 2002. It still has the Belgian licensing plate on it because I discovered to my peril with a different machine that trying to remove those things doesn’t tend to end well, or pretty, so it was left. On receiving it, I stripped it down and “restored” it. The only faults at the time were a dead death star motor which was replaced and either a column or row was missing from the display. The death star still worked the last time I played it this time last year but it is what it is - they can be temperamental.
While the display no longer has any missing columns or rows, the repair is not for the faint of heart (see pic). Leave it alone and it should be good. The display still “judders” periodically. I’ve never looked into it but I don’t believe it’s related to the repair. The display is the original. Obviously an LED display would cure all of this but I’ve never felt the need.
The GE lights are a little dim and there is some buzz to them. If I were keeping it I’d fit an LED kit. That’s been on my radar for years and yet somehow I’ve just never done it.
The only other “issue” is that I have a vague recollection that it may not remember scores / settings, but when I went to take the batteries out to store it, there weren’t any in there so I could just be going bat**** crazy on that. If it doesn’t remember them and if it uses an EAROM (ER-2055 maybe? I forget) then I might have one, but then my replacements would probably be as old as the original one
That’s about it really, you know the score. I’ve moved house and screwed up because the garage is simply too small for the amount of pins and vids that I have and out of all of them, this is the one to go - which really just goes to show how much I think of all the games that I have left that this one would go with all it’s history. But it is what it is, the only way we’re moving to somewhere bigger is a lottery win and the house ain’t going to grow overnight all by itself so tough calls have to be made. I swore I’d never sell it, and yet here we are.
Cheers,
Martin."
Obviously you'll want to see it working so if you're interested at the asking £3850, then he will sort something out to show it working on collection or before hand if a courier such as Martin is needed.
Thanks!

- Kenny Baker (R2D2)
- Warwick Davis (Wicket)
- Dave Prowse (Darth Vader) - signed glass and at a later date, the inner image after I realised that glass can smash
- Micheal Sheard (Admiral Ozzel)
- Jeremy Bulloch (Bobba Fett)
- Jerome Blake (Various Ep I & Ep II)
- Paul Blake (Greedo)
- Peter Burroughs (Stunt Ewok - yes, really!)
