Not found anything that is great yet cliffy s look ugly and don’t really do a great job
The pu parts I sometimes use but they tend to move about a lot and interfere with the shooter lane switch I had to adjust this as it often kicked 2 balls out

This is what I was concerned about. Maybe I'll just turn the ball eject power right down and leave as is.

Morning chaps. What do people use to protect their shooter lanes? I'm thinking I might add something to Jurassic Park to keep it minty. Are these any good? https://pu-parts.com/jurassic-park-shooter-lane-protector I wasn't overly convinced by the install process being only stuck down at one end. So yeah any advice?

I’ve got them on all my games, found they work best when you don’t stick them down.

Zero issues with them interfering with switch or ball kick outs. But have seen them cause some issues if they are not perfectly flat with your shooter lane it’s why I’ve found them best not being stuck down.

Hmm. Okay, **** it, for the sake of 20 odd quid I'll grab one and try it out, cheers

The Pu shooter lane protectors can be hit and miss.
I have them on my pins and most are fine.
The only exception was IMDN , I threw it in the bin.
It sat too proud in the shooter lane so when the ball was in the lane it wasn’t depressing the shooter lane switch (due to hovering above it) which majorly interferes with gameplay.
So there’s a few variances at play.
If there’s a warp in your shooter lane protector, or stuck down creating a misaligned/ raised protector or the shooter lane switch height is a bit low as it protrudes into the shooter lane may depend on whether install will be successfully or not.

Is there not some hardening varnish that could be used to prevent the chipping maybe?

I have taken mine out because for some reason it's triggering the diverter at the back of the PF when the ball is launched.

Clearly the protector is triggering a switch but I don't really understand.
