Hi.
The magnet on my shadow isn't working.

Magnet throw test
Magnet power = off
Opto switch = closed
Status ready
And the ball thing on bottom left is. Sw33. Presume that's a switch but no issues come up on switch test
Game plays fine....wall goes up and down to compensate for it not working.........checked fuses, seem OK but ifit could be that I will look again.

ALSO.......switch 55...........battlefield drop target, coils fine. It is up at start of game, one hit and it stays down for rest of game so get in battlefield easy, think it should pop back up ??? Switch 55 seems to be the actual target from what I can make out ?????
Cheers for any help......Rich.

Think 55 if I remember rightly (been a few years since I had a shadow) is the micro switch on the sactum wall drop down. Have you checked the sanctum opto switches in the switch edge test? And the sanctum wall switch? Also check the fuse for the magnet mine went through a faze of blowing

I will change the fuse regardless then, hopefully its that, micro switches are OK, blown opto switches with air can, still can,t work out the switch edge test, had it on but ????!!!!!! Read if a switch isn'tregistering but OK magnet disAbles, so if not fuse could be opto butbut not coming up as bad

Switch 55. Battlefield drop target down.
Test in switch menu. There is small adjustment for it but make sure target is flush with playfield first, then adjust if necessary. Have you sorted this yet?

Not had a good look at it yet.
Is the adjustment manual ? As in doing it to the target with play field up or via settings.

Magnet on the sanctum worked briefly then held it and let it roll back, now off again, read it disables the magnet after a few games if its not set up properly and thinks there's a fault, going to double check switches again and adjust the magnet.

Also........the bottom half of the lights behind the translite are not working ...flashers are OK.......I have traced the wires back to the connecting plug on the board and it is brown where the two wires go in so presumably burn,t out........unsure what was the cause though so abit nervous about getting a new connector and wiring it back up??? Any advice ???? Will check the manual but a lot of it may as well be written in Japanese for how much sense I can make of it. Cannot imagine the bottom half have their own fuse ?? Cheers.

Cheers for that, I will have a fiddle with it in the next day or two and see how I get on, I have to admit they bring me out in a cold sweat when I lift the lid !!
