I see lots of people spend lots of money on some lovely pins, then lots of money on mods to make it look pretty - I wondered how many Stern owners bother to check the website for service bulletins and action them at all (boring I know but read on).
I recently bought Star Wars, first thing I did was check the service bulletins - there was a diode stabilisation kit and a capacitor kit recommended. The capacitor kit was already fitted but the diode kit wasn’t so I ordered one straight away from Phil - for literally a couple of quid!! Took minutes to fit and now hopefully safe from potential failure.

There’s a recent post on Facebook where someone’s Star Wars node board 9 has failed, he’s replaced it and still no joy so may need to replace the subnodes too! - This advice has come from someone to whom this also happened! And the suspected failure is the diode on Node board 9! - just a quick bulletin check & a few quid could save you a fortune [emoji106]
Just my advice, take it or leave it.
Happy flipping.
