Very nice condition ToM. Just serviced & cleaned by Martin @ GoPinball (bought from him originally, refurbished). His comment last week:
'Pinball machine is good condition, in full working order. All PCBs clean, no parts missing. Good playfield, couple of cracked plastics.'

Getting ready to move house and 3 machines is one (or two) too many.

My comments:
  • I couldn't spot the cracked plastics as not easily visible but a photo shows the one I could see.
  • The cabinet is in good condition - a couple of scratches and, on one side, a scratch has been painted in (see photos)
  • I replaced the trunk - it is whole but a bit of tape along the bottom to add some protection.
  • All new rubbers & balls. Fully LED'd
  • Battery compartment relocated (& new batteries)
  • Tiny bit of playfield damage by trapdoor
Before I put it on eBay, I wanted to give a heads up in case anyone is interested. We live in Farnham, Surrey. We're away from 23/06 to 05/07 but will be picking up emails etc.

Thanks
Matthew

i had martin from go pinball visit me to repair my t/z a couple of years ago,he sure knows his stuff,if he has serviced this pin i would think it will be in full working order.glws

Is this by any chance still available?
Hi. Yes it is. Someone wanted to buy it but his wife vetoed his purchase. Have another enquiry but would like to sell so let me know if interested. Many thanks. Matthew

Ah the classic “my wife won’t let me have it” a real man buys the pin and puts the wife out in the shed! :D

the man is obviously hen pecked,so i think a chicken coop is the best place. you would think people would get funds, and make sure you want it (and the wife)before wasting peoples time,

Yes still available. Want to sell as need the space. Will sell at £5,950 but guess it will be bit more on eBay because of their fees etc.

Deserves to sell at that price and in that condition, and can’t quite believe it hasn’t gone already. GLWTS.

You now have to pay for the item on ebay before you can get contact details from seller, so you part with thousands of pounds only to find out item is no good then claim your money back from ebay then get in a dispute with buyer who will claim item was as described.oh well its only money.

I would not be selling a high end item like this on eBay especially if the cash goes via them. If you get a bad buyer you could lose the pin and the cash. Just not worth the hassle. Cash on glass or bank transfer only at these prices!!! These online sales market places that handle the cash are just far to open to sellers and buyers being scammed.

There are different rules For distance selling and in person transactions.

On eBay, for collection only stuff, you do need to pay in full, but you get a collection code.

If you turn up and the item’s not as described, don’t give the seller the collection code, walk away, get your money back from eBay.

If you do give them the collection code and take the item away, that’s the end of it.

You can’t later claim it’s not as described as you’ve had the opportunity to physically assess the item.

EBay isn’t perfect, but you can do a lot to safeguard yourself as both a buyer and seller

Is this really the case?
I had a code scanned for a pin which was collected by a courier. The buyer later then tried to get me to send cash because they claimed a few things weren't right. I didn't send anything as I thought it was a scam
They then lodged a claim through Ebay. I ended up paying a small amount to end things but would Ebay really have been on my side?

They may “encourage” people to come to an agreement, i.e. they don’t step in until asked, but for collection items as soon as they appoint a third party to collect, they loose all buyer protection

EBay would have 100% sided with you
