Hi, does anyone have a Goldeneye? Mine seems to be missing some sounds. If I go to speaker test, and Voice ROM 2 (U21) I get nothing. I do get sound from voice ROM 1 (U17) and Music ROM (U7).
Sometimes you can see people talking on the display but no sound. Other times sound is OK.
I tried downloading the U21 ROM file from IPDB and flashed an EPROM (checksum 71F0) but can't get that to work at all. The checksum on the existing U21 ROM is 4A31.
If someone else has a Goldeneye - can you check yours please.
